Annie Sloan Chalk Paint Projects!

I have been quite busy the last couple of weeks!  We are having a record breaking month and I am doing everything I can to keep up!  This is a wonderful problem to have and we are blessed beyond measure, but it has been exhausting!
So needless to say, I am going to keep the wording short and let the pictures speak for themselves! Hope you enjoy!

Some home decor items refinished in Annie Sloan Cream:
I hand painted the little bee and wreath to give it a little “French Flair”
I finished this is Annie Sloan Cream.  I applied the paint rather thick then used a hair dryer to dry it.  This causes the paint to crack giving you that crackle finish without applying any crackle medium.  I then applied clear and dark wax to pull out the crackling effect.  I love how this piece turned out!
This was just your normal “gold” plastic framed mirror.  Painted in Annie Sloan Cream, Crackled with the hair dryer, then I used a damp rag to rub off some of the paint.  I didn’t want to use sand paper because I wanted the gold to show through.  If I sanded, it would have taken it back to the brown plastic.  I then sealed with clear and dark wax.

A magnet board and some framed bird prints (courtesy of the Graphic Fairy).  All the frames were painted in Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Cream.
A vintage wooden wall shelf painted in Annie Sloan Paris Gray with a new updated backing!
Several other framed bird pictures (all courtesy of the Graphic Fairy).  Annie Sloan’s Emperor’s Silk was used on the two bottom frames.  One as just the red with antiquing glaze and the other with Paris Gray over top and distressed!
Little side table painted in Annie Sloan’s Paris Grey and Old White. Then I hand painted the queen bee and wreath on this as well.
And last, but not least a french styled chair that I painted in Annie Sloan Old White, reupholstered in a faux french grain sack and some “frenchy” hand made pillows to top it all off!
A close up of the detail.  Please excuse the date stamp…I took my daughter to Disney on Ice and forgot to turn it off!  OOPS!

Just a view of the back!

So that is what I have been up to for the last several weeks!  How about you?
On a side note…we dropped off the chair and the pillows Sunday around 4pm and they sold by yesterday at 2pm.  Back to the garage!
